Investigando la problemática ambiental causada por los desechos industriales vertidos en el Río de la Plata, nos dimos cuenta de que, a pesar de las numerosas soluciones planteadas, la más efectiva es la implementación de políticas estrictas de control y tratamiento de residuos.

Con el propósito de minimizar el impacto causado por los desechos industriales generados por la actividad humana y mejorar la salud de las personas. Nosotros proponemos un prototipo que consiste en reducir la contaminación industrial en el río de la plata. El prototipo obtiene energía de paneles solares que tiene en la parte superior del prototipo. En caso de que esté nublado y no se pueda obtener energía solar, tiene un pila de floruro. Tiene unas turbinas para avanzar y 2 motores L293N con ruedas para poder girar. Tiene un sensor ultrasónico para detectar los objetos cercanos. Por delante tiene unas puertas(Por donde ingresarán los residuos)que están conectadas a una balanza. Cuando la balanza llega a un peso determinado, las puertas se cerrarán y el prototipo irá hacia la pirólisis Dentro hay una rejilla para que no se estanque el agua dentro del robot e interfiera en la balanza. El prototipo deja los residuos en la pirólisis la cual quema los residuos. Al quemar los residuos se obtendrá combustible, carbón y gas metano. Dentro de la pirólisis, cuando el gas ya esté listo subirá hacia arriba de la pirólisis. También hay una rejilla para dividir el carbón del combustible.

R.A.D.I.S.S is a project carried out by 6th year Secondary School students which deals with the problem of underground fires. As we already know, forest fires are a problem that happens in all parts of the world. Underground fires can burn undetected even for months. This is why the detection of this type of fire is key.

Below, I share the state of the art in which the problem is cut and what is known about it to date.


The selection of this topic is based on the importance of understanding underground fires as a global threat and the need to explore innovative solutions to mitigate their impacts. Although these fires can have various causes, from human activities to natural phenomena, they usually go unnoticed for long periods before appearing on the surface. This phenomenon, combined with the complexity of extinguishing them, underlines the urgency of developing advanced strategies and technologies to efficiently prevent, detect and control underground fires.

It occurred to us to design a prototype which detects underground fires at their roots; introducing a temperature sensor underground, preventing these major fire problems.

Proponemos un prototipo que detecta las emisiones de CO2 de los escapes y activa una alarma para alertar a los conductores sobre la quema excesiva de combustible. Este prototipo no solo monitorea y alerta sobre las emisiones de CO2, sino que también sirve como un recordatorio visual y auditivo, promoviendo comportamientos de conducción más ecológicos y responsables. Se tomó la decisión de enfocarse en Buenos Aires para facilitar el desarrollo y aumentar la posibilidad de aplicar el prototipo de manera más efectiva en un contexto local. Fossil Fuels: Vehicles in Buenos Aires

Our concern arose from the use of fossil fuels. As Buenos Aires is a city heavily frequented by vehicles, we wondered about the extent of their pollution. Upon investigating, we were struck by how much vehicles contribute to pollution.

We looked into what kind of actions were being taken in the city to mitigate CO2 emissions. We concluded that, despite several planned measures, individual cars were not being considered, nor was the regulation of the greenhouse gases they emit.
